MOVE THE
RIVER

Rivers are historically boundary markers. In this case, the boundary maintains the sacredness of a relationship - our relationship with God. Over time various things of lesser importance infringe upon our devotion to God. God's calling to move the river is to resist the encroachment and reclaim His rightful place in our daily life. It is a call to action for daily prayer, reflection, and discernment. The mission of KINDRED is to recover God's territory and His place in our personal life through inspired Christian living. We believe this begins with the Word of God. KINDRED exists to make the Word of God accessible.

KINDRED
BIBLES

The Bible in itself is intimidating. It is intimidating to hold a complete library in your hands, especially a library which contains the teachings that we require for the sake of our salvation. KINDRED publishes beautiful presentations of the Catholic (NABRE) biblical books designed for an accessible and reflective experience with Scripture. The KINDRED Bibles collection is an immersive way to deepen our relationship with Christ by offering the Bible in a presentation designed with Lectio & Visio Divina's principles to encourage contemplative prayer. The motivation and expectation are to advance beyond reading Scripture for informational studies and transcend into communion with God so that we may discover God's guidance to us. We invite you to experience the Bible in a brand new way. We invite you to experience the Word renewed.

 Zacchaeus

KINDRED serves "Zacchaeus" (Luke 19:1-10), the person that desires an encounter with the living God. The afflictions, conflicts, and concerns that we experience today are no different from what people endured in the past. When we read the parables and hear the stories, we can see how Christ once attended to those in need, but we sometimes wonder about His presence today in our own lives. For anyone that has ever turned to prayer, visited a church, or searched Scripture in hopes of receiving divine encouragement and guidance - our purpose is to help those people form a space for an encounter with Christ through a contemplative and prayerful approach to Scripture. If we can repeatedly encounter Christ, we will begin to recognize His voice and trust our lives to be led by Him.

When we pray, we speak to God; but when we read, God speaks to us.
